TPO, PVC and EPDM membranes all deliver excellent weatherability and long-term strength and flexibility. These systems also provide excellent resistance to punctures and tears. In addition, IRC’s PVC is exceptionally resistant to chemicals, grease, and UV light. With IRC’s single ply roofing membranes, there are many choices to suit a variety of applications and needs.
TPO is one of the latest single ply, flat roofing materials on the market. The current membrane formulations are reinforced with a polyester fabric and manufactured using an ultraviolet-resistant thermoplastic polyolefin formulation.
The PVC formulation offers the lowest life cycle cost in the single-ply roofing industry. It also offers the highest reflectivity rating for increased energy savings, and delivers best in class chemical resistance.
EPDM offers superior weatherability through a wide range of temperatures and conditions and demonstrates superior ozone resistance. EPDM membranes are available in several thicknesses and can be installed in ballasted, mechanically fastened or adhered applications.
