We install several different types of restoration coatings, each specially designed and formulated to be used in certain situations. Restoration coatings are applied directly to the roof surface and create a seamless membrane over top of the existing roof. Because they require an existing roof in place, restoration coatings are not a good fit for new construction, or for roofs that are failing structurally.
Many restoration coatings can be applied to a roof without a primer, and only require a thorough power-washing of the roof before installation. This makes them extremely quick, easy, and inexpensive to install. Building owners will also experience significant savings when the old roofing system doesn’t have to be torn out, but is made to last 10-15 years after application.
Spray applied coatings are also used in conjunction with sprayed polyurethane foam to protect it from the damage done by UV rays. If foam is installed, it needs a protective barrier from the sun, and that is usually a spray-applied coating.
