In 1973, Urethane of Kentuckiana, Inc was founded and began applying spray polyurethane foam (SPF) roofing. The technology at that point was still relatively new but seemed to be a viable roofing solution.
During the first 10 years, the business grew rapidly. So rapidly in fact, the business grew into a regional and then national company. Thus, in the early 80's, management made the decision to begin doing business as Insulated Roofing Contractors. We are still today incorporated as Urethane of Kentuckiana, Inc with the DBA Insulated Roofing Contractors (IRC).
IRC is entirely privately owned. The ownership and management team consist of:
